To get right to your point, most people on this forum consider the 18 series to be the best dishwasher Hobart ever produced for the home market. I am sorry to hear that you are feeling under the weather so take care of yourself so you can get well enough to go and get this machine! So I decided it is time to get me an older Kitchenaid of my own. The Inglis is now my primary dishwasher, replacing a BOL Hotpoint, but it still doesn't clean dishes properly like my parent's older Kitchenaid does (not sure what model it is). Seeing as the Inglis looked in better shape (and had an electronic control panel), I took it home with me to restore, but looking back I guess I should have taken both of them. In the barn were two old dishwashers: a KDS-18 and an Inglis. When my older brother bought his house a number of years ago, a large barn full of all kinds of stuff came with it. I could have had what I think was a KDS-18 for free. And of course luck would have it that I have gotten sick, so I won't be able to go see it for a few days at least. Unfortunately, the ad only contained the one picture, so I only have that to go on for right now. I agree that $100 is a little on the expensive side, again depending on condition. OK, well I'll give Stevet a chance to see this post, and if he doesn't reply, I'll start a new post asking for information.
